Dentalstyle Ltd is committed to the use of sustainable materials and ensuring that we not only meet project objectives such as programme and cost but also reduce the impact of our operations on the environment. Dentalstyle believe that re-use is as important as re-cycle and outline our procurement and operation polices below.
All of Dentalstyle’s hard wood products can be supplied with an FSC or PEFC certification. Hardwood products are ordinarily utilised by Dentalstyle on bespoke items such as reception desks, nurse stations and bench seating.
All of the particle and fibreboard supplied by Dentalstyle is FSC certified. The PEFC scheme is internationally recognised and we have attached an information sheet regarding this organisation.
Dentalstyle plc have also recently adopted a policy of segregating its waste - wood, processed wood products and metal are now all recycled which avoids the need for landfill. Innovative methods for utilising redundant stock have also been introduced, such as the using any coloured 2mm ABS edging left over from a specific project to seat the non visual exposed edges of post-form worktop cores.
All of Dentalstyle’s packaging for transit is either re-used as part of the protection for the installation or returned to the factory and re-used for transit again. This includes the expanded form edge protection and cardboard corner protection.
